Flinders View Primary & Preschool Flinders View caters for students from preschool to year 6. It is located in Port Augusta, amidst the picturesque view of the Flinders Ranges.

📸 **MEDIA ARTS PHOTOGRAPHY EXCURSIONS | R–6** 📸

What a fantastic few days of photography learning for our Reception–Year 6 students!

Our students represented Flinders View Primary School beautifully while out and about in the community. They were respectful, engaged, curious and enthusiastic as they put their photography skills into practice in real-world settings.

A **huge thank you** to the wonderful community members, organisations, staff and volunteers who welcomed our students and supported their learning. These experiences not only helped students develop their photography skills, but also gave them opportunities to connect with and build their knowledge of the **Port Augusta community, its people and places**. 💛

Across the excursions, students captured an amazing collection of photographs — from interesting details and perspectives to places, people, stories and moments within our community.

Next week, the learning continues as students begin **post-processing and editing their images**, making thoughtful choices about which photographs best communicate their ideas and stories.

They will then begin selecting, refining and preparing their strongest pieces for our **Media Arts Photography Exhibition in Week 9**, where families will be able to see the incredible work they have created. 📷✨

We can’t wait to share the finished collection!
