Tash graduated from PCSSC in 2013 after studying VCAL, which has been renamed VCE Vocational Major. Prior to completing a course studying disability and becoming a support worker, Tash spent a year working around the state as a carnival operator.
After Tash’s time as a carnival operator came to an end, she completed a traineeship in education support before moving to Western Australia to continue her passion in education. After spending three years in Western Australia, Tash moved back to Victoria to complete further studies focussed on school age care.
Looking back, Tash didn’t envision working within the education sector and supporting the students of our future and recognises that all of the teachers had a positive influence on her education

✨ALUMNI CLASSROOM SESSION✨
We recently welcomed alum Adriana (grad 2014) and Vendel (grad 2016) who spoke to our Year 11 VCE VM Personal Development Skills (PDS) students regarding their experiences with AI within the workplace and the positive/negative impact it had on their health and wellbeing.

It was a great opportunity for PCSSC students to hear how AI is being utilised within the workforce depending upon the industry.

Meet your 2027 School Captain applicant hopefuls!

These 4 Year 11 students have undertaken a rigorous application process, and on Tuesday, all Year 10 and 11 students will vote for their choice for next year’s School Captains!

Tomorrow, Monday 31st of August, the 4 applicants will be running a meet and greet at lunch outside the wellbeing hub, where students will be able to have a chat with each of them about why they should get your #1 pick!

As many of you know, our School Captains Kaashvi and Bano recently ran a series of fundraising events, raising over $1000 for The Pyjama Foundation! As part of their fundraising, Mr Sleep and Mr Flannery volunteered to complete specific activities - Mr Sleep wore school uniform for a whole day at school last week (and on his birthday!) and Mr Flannery just had his hair dyed pink yesterday! Thanks to everyone who donated! 🤩🤩

✨ALUMNI CLASSROOM SESSION✨
Our VET Sport & Recreation students recently had alum James (grad 2021) speak about his experience within the Sport and Events Operations industry, most recently working at MSAC and precinct venues, Marvel Stadium and Albert Park during the F1 event.
James provided an informative and interactive presentation which included hazards, protective clothing and crowd control.

Year 10 boys basketball, Hobsons Bay Premiers!!

Today our Year 10 squad battled it out at Altona for the Hobsons Bay Division basketball tournament.

Finishing first out of sixteen teams (1/16) with a 4-0 undefeated record.

Shako was immense defensively all day fueling his offensive game, earning team MVP honors. His twin brother Omba, our captain was dominant, Omba was challenged by Mr. Noonan to play the point forward position were he is essentially playing all 5 positions offensively and defensively. Omba showcased his athleticism with various in-game slam dunks. Ryan was the hero the grand final, proving that shooters shoot. Ryan hit 3 enormous three point shots in the grand final that proved to be the difference in us winning. Iroam and Oliver displayed some of the best defensive play Mr. Noonan has ever seen from Year 10 students. Oliver created countless turnovers and fast breaks for the team. Dash, Maaz and Zachary remained professional all day. Dash was incredible in our 2nd game where he lead our team on a run scoring 20 points in 3 minutes along with Maz and Zach under the rim.

Mr. Noonan could not be prouder of your team play, defensive and sportsmanship representing our school.

Proud school moment! As many know, School Captains Kaashvi and Bano recently organised a week-long event to raise money for the Pyjama Foundation. Through their hard work and effort, as well as the generosity of staff and students, the school managed to raise over $1000! We are so proud of Kaashvi and Bano for stepping up, and so thankful to the school community for your support!
