A reminder that our Sat morning classes will run as scheduled.

For those who are grading, it is important to ARRIVE 10-15mins EARLY in FULL UNIFORM. Grading is an important day. For our team to properly assess everyone and run to schedule, we have a lock-door policy; which means, you will NOT be admitted if you're late or not ready. Please check your emails for more preparation instructions.

Spectators are welcome but we request noise levels to be kept at a minimum. Photography is permitted.

JUN GRADING SCHEDULE:
Yellow 2pm SAT 20th JUN
Orange & Purple 4pm SAT 20th JUN
Red & Green 6pm SAT 20th JUN
Blue, Brown & Black 9am SUN 21st JUN

June Gradings are only a couple of weeks away. We hope that these Grading posts will inspire 🥷

Smaller gradings mean a higher level of scrutiny! We're very proud of our students for their resilience. At Intermediate levels, they're tested on ALL their techniques from White Belt onwards. There's a lot more to commit to muscle memory.

Often, we witness our students perform their catalogue of techniques, hoping that they will never need to use it for real. However, doing their best, having the right attitude, not giving up... those are qualities that become a part of who they are. Therefore, we are equally proud of how they carry themselves on the mat (without complaining, without putting anyone else down), as we are of their technical proficiency.

It's always rewarding to witness our students stepping up to their potential.

We wonder if students remember learning their stances for the first time. Consider how much more they know now.

For those who have registered to Grade, please revise ALL techniques from White belt up, as you will be tested on EVERYTHING you've learnt so far!

Are you ready to level up? To level up to the next belt rank, students are required to earn ALL FOUR TECHNIQUE STRIPES, and a minimum of two Good Job stripes on their current belt level.

Private Training at Martial Journey is offered to provide additional support for students who are:
- preparing for Gradings
- revising content after time away or to build confidence
- clarifying challenging techniques

One-to-one focused time means the sessions are personalised for the student's needs.

The ONLY scheduled date in Term 2 is on:
FRI 29 MAY, 5-7pm
15min for White to Red Belts
30min for Green Belt & above
