Happy SSO Week!

This week we celebrate and recognise our incredible Student Support Officers and the important role they play every day at Forbes Primary School.

Our SSOs bring patience, care, encouragement, flexibility and plenty of heart to their work. Whether they are supporting learning in the classroom, helping students regulate and reconnect, celebrating the small wins or simply being a trusted person when a student needs one, the difference they make is enormous.

We are incredibly grateful for everything our SSO team does to support our students, staff and wider school community.

Today is Australian Primary Principals Day, and we want to say a huge thank you to our incredible leadership team here at Forbes Primary School.

💙 Our Principal Mrs Norris - thank you for your constant support, your welcoming smile, and the genuine care you show our students, staff and school community every single day.

💙 Our Deputy Principal Mr D – thank you for bringing so much energy, enthusiasm and laughter to our school. Your encouragement and support makes a positive difference to everyone around you.

💙 Our Assistant Principal Mr L – thank you for your kind and caring nature, your willingness to listen, and the compassion you show to our students, staff and community.

We are incredibly grateful for your leadership and the positive impact you all have on our school every day.

The excitement is building! 🎉

Our Student Agency students and Bu Harvey have been busy reviewing designs, sharing ideas and casting their votes for our brand-new playground! Students and staff have also had the opportunity to provide their input, and now comes the hardest part... the wait! 🤩

We can't wait to reveal the final design and create an amazing new play space for our students. Stay tuned!

Welcome back! 🎉

It was wonderful to welcome all of our students back to school today. We've had a busy but fantastic first day, with everyone settling back into their learning routines so well.

A special welcome to our new mid-year students! They have had a great first day, getting to know their classrooms, making new friends and learning the routines of school.

We're looking forward to another fantastic term of learning, growth and fun together!

Our Reception students celebrated 100 Days of School today!🎉💯

What a fantastic 100 days of learning, growing and making new friendships. The junior primary classes all enjoyed a range of fun 100 Days activities to mark this special milestone.

We are so proud of how much they have achieved already this year and can't wait to see all they accomplish over the next six months. Well done to our Reception students! 🎉

What a fantastic School Disco! 💃🕺

Today was a huge hit, with plenty of smiling faces, dancing, limbo, and even some karaoke from our brave performers! 🎤✨

The gym was filled with sparkles, inflatable guitars, headbands and microphones, and colourful glasses as students enjoyed an afternoon of music and fun together. 🌟

A huge thank you to Bu Harvey, our Student Agency, staff and parent volunteers for making this event such a success.

A wonderful way to celebrate the end of the term! 🎶🎈
