🦋Caring, talented and fun Educators We are a family owned and operated ECEC service with over 20 years experience in the sector. Children and Early Education is our passion and we strive to create a loving, fun, secure and educational e

nvironment through play based experiences. Our curriculum is compliant with the Early Years Learning Framework and inspired by the philosophies of Jean Piaget and Loris Malaguzzi. We offer a child led, play based learning environment where children can take control of how they learn. We also offer a QLD Government Approved Kindergarten Program for children who turn the age of four before June 30 each year. This Kindergarten Program will run 52 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday: 8am-4pm, will be facilitated by a Bachelor of Early Education qualified Primary School Teacher. Our Service is designed to include a natural environment & wildlife where children are safe and free to explore as much as their little hearts are content. We let children BE children.

A little set up in our Wattle Studio this studio is our baby’s 6 weeks to 11 months!!

🐤OUR CHICKS🐤

Absolutely crazy to see that we have incubated two sets of fertilise chicken eggs and explored how to raise chickens!

We obviously went all out this time and collected a bunch of fancy breeds so out little learners could see the difference in size, shapes, feathers and colours!!!

We take very good care of our army of chickens 🤣

🌿 BRIDGING THE GAP BELONGING AND BECOMING🌿

Yesterday, Plainland Kindy team had the pleasure of joining the ECDP team for a wonderful networking opportunity focused on strengthening the bridge between Kindergarten, ECDP and school transitions.
This is a cause that sits very close to the Our team’s hearts. ❤️

We believe that supporting children through transitions means looking beyond a single setting and seeing the whole child, their strengths, relationships, identity, family, experiences and aspirations.

As we continue to evolve our pedagogy towards a more holistic view of each child, opportunities like today allow us to share knowledge, build meaningful professional connections and work together to create smoother, more connected pathways for children and their families.

Because when we all work together, the transition from one learning environment to the next becomes less about a “gap” and more about creating a bridge of belonging, connection and continuity. 🌱✨

🦋CREATIVITY IN BLOOM🦋

There's something truly magical about watching children express themselves through art. Today our little artists explored watercolours, experimented with colour mixing, and created beautiful masterpieces inspired by flowers and nature

With paintbrushes in hand and imaginations leading the way, each child had the opportunity to create at their own pace, developing confidence, fine motor skills, creativity, and self-expression

Every artwork tells its own unique story, reminding us that there is no right or wrong way to create
