👖 Jeans for Genes Day 2026

Last week, our Papilio Pitt Town community came together to support Jeans for Genes Day!
Our children and educators proudly wore their denim to help raise awareness for the incredible work of the Children’s Medical Research Institute and the importance of research into genetic diseases affecting children and families.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and helping us introduce our children to the importance of kindness, community and supporting causes that make a difference. 💙
A big thank you to all of our families and educators who joined in and helped us show our support! 👖

👀 Something exciting is happening at Papilio Pitt Town...
If you arrived this morning, you might notice a few changes happening around our outdoor spaces. 🤫

Let's just say... our yard is getting a makeover! 🚧 🌳
We're keeping the big reveal under wraps for now, but we can't wait to watch our children explore, discover and create memories in what's to come.

Over the coming months, keep an eye on our page for little sneak peeks. Can you guess what's being added and the changes? 👀

We loved having the Year 5 students visit our preschool today! Experiences like these create strong community connections and help support positive school transitions for our children. 📚✨

Today we say a very special goodbye to our beautiful Miss Runa as she retires from Papilio Pitt Town and begins an exciting new chapter volunteering in Vanuatu for the next few months. 🌺
Runa has been such a valued part of our centre for many years, bringing so much kindness, positivity, care and warmth to everyone around her. Her bright energy, dedication and genuine love for the children, families and team have made such a lasting impact on our community.
We are incredibly grateful for everything she has given over the years and know how deeply she will be missed by both the children and educators alike.
While we are sad to see her go, we are also so excited for this amazing adventure ahead and know she will continue to spread her kindness wherever she goes. 💛
Thank you, Runa, for your many years of service, your constant positivity and the beautiful memories you leave with us. We wish you all the happiness and safe travels on your journey to Vanuatu. ✈️🌴
