It is our conviction that 0 - 5 years are some of the most important developmental years of any child's life and form the foundation for the rest of their life. The experiences a child has at pre-school level are fundamental to their future development. Our centre has comprehensive individual development goals for each and every child, monitoring and planning programs to meet your child's school readiness needs. We firmly believe that school readiness is not just a one year process prior to starting school but begins at birth. Our purpose is to meet the needs of all age groups including a separate facility and playground for before and after school care and vacation care. Milestones Pitt Town has been fully accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council since the introduction of the accreditation scheme, always attaining the highest quality rating. ✨ Exploring Emotions ✨

Over the past few weeks, the Toddlers have explored emotions through a variety of engaging experiences including sensory play, matching games, puzzles, creative art and storytelling and expressing emotions in the mirror.

These experiences supported the children to recognise and name different emotions, build empathy, develop emotional vocabulary and begin understanding that all feelings are valid. It has been wonderful watching their confidence grow as they explored and expressed their emotions through play.

❤️💛🖤 NAIDOC Week Continues! 🖤💛❤️

The children have continued celebrating NAIDOC Week through hands-on play and meaningful learning. They explored Aboriginal Flag art and craft, discovered beautifully themed learning environments, created artwork using cotton-tip Aboriginal symbol painting, experimented with playdough and symbol stamps, and explored Australian animals through puzzles and sensory experiences.

❤️💛🖤 NAIDOC Week 🖤💛❤️

Today was the start of NAIDOC celebrations. Our children explored Australian native animals through sensory play, created Aboriginal Flag artwork, decorated a special 50 to celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC Week, and shared a Dreamtime story about Australian animals.

🐞🦋 The fun continues for Insect Week! 🐝🌿

Our little explorers have been busy matching, sorting, stamping, creating and discovering all things insects! From colourful caterpillar activities and bug playdough invitations to insect classification games, painting and sensory play, every experience has sparked curiosity, creativity and plenty of smiles.

Learning through play is always an adventure! 🐛💚✨

Our little learners have been busy creating butterfly artwork, exploring real insects up close, diving into The Very Hungry Caterpillar play, enjoying imaginative role play, and discovering mini beasts through sensory experiences. So much curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning all in one week! 🌿✨

🚒🔥 Oakville Rural Firefighters! 🔥🚒

Our little firefighters loved climbing aboard the fire truck, exploring the equipment and imagining life as a real firefighter. Our older children even had the chance to use the fire hose, while our friend Sadie introduced everyone to a very special spotty friend! 🐾💦

A big thank you to the firefighters for creating such a fun, interactive and memorable experience for our children. ❤️👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

Our little learners have been exploring the fascinating world of insects through hands-on play and discovery. From bug role play and insect-inspired art to matching games, sorting experiences and classification activities, every invitation has encouraged curiosity, creativity and problem-solving.

Our little pirates had an absolute treasure of a day filled with adventure, imagination, and plenty of fun! From pirate dress-ups to exciting activities, the children fully embraced the spirit of the day as they sailed through a day of learning and play. 💰🏝️✨
