Our Science Team has done it again! 🧪🏆

To top off an action packed National Science Week, our Science Team took out first place at the Brighton Hotel National Science Week Quiz Night!

A fantastic result and a very fitting way to finish a week celebrating all things science. Congratulations to our brilliant Science Team!

🔬 Science Week at Pinjarra Senior High School! 🧪

What a week of experimenting, problem solving, creating and a little bit of controlled chaos! 😂

Our students got stuck into a fantastic range of Science Week challenges, putting their teamwork, creativity and scientific thinking to the test.

🤖 Sphero Challenges – navigating, racing and problem solving their way through the challenges.

🌿 Terrariums – creating their own little ecosystems and discovering how plants and environments work together.

💣 Defuse the Bomb Challenge – working as a team under pressure to solve the clues and save the day!

🌌 Constellations in a Cup – bringing the night sky to life and exploring the stars in a very creative way.

🍦 Mystery Challenge: Ice Cream! – using dry ice and cream to make their very own ice cream. Science has never tasted so good!

A huge thank you to our Science team for putting together such a fun and hands-on week. Our students have certainly shown that science is about much more than textbooks and test tubes! 🧪✨

And perhaps most importantly… there was ice cream. 😂🍦

NAIDOC WEEK – 50 Years of Deadly

Please join us on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 11.00am for our NAIDOC Week Assembly. We would love to see you there as we come together to celebrate and recognise this important week.
