Smart Glasses Ban – Effective Term 4

As we begin Term 4, we would like to remind our school community that smart glasses are banned from all WA public schools from the start of Term 4.

This ban applies to everyone in our school community, including students, staff, parents/carers, visitors and contractors, and extends to school grounds and school-organised events and activities.

Smart glasses may include technology that allows users to take photos, record audio or video, access the internet, use AI applications and connect wirelessly to other devices. The new requirements aim to protect the privacy, wellbeing and safety of everyone in our school environment.

We ask all members of our school community to ensure smart glasses are not brought onto school grounds or to school events.

Normal prescription glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses are not affected by this ban.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment for our entire school community.
