Sorry for the late post but you will see how busy our lttle school has been at the end of Term 2 ๐
Wow, what a busy and rewarding week we have had at Pilliga Public School!
We began the week with a visit from our Police Youth Liaison Officers, who spoke with students about staying safe, making positive choices and contributing to their community. Students then proudly represented our school as part of the Voices of the Western Plains Choir, showcasing their talents and commitment.
We were also fortunate to welcome Healthy Harold, who worked with students on developing and navigating positive friendships, building important skills that support their wellbeing both at school and beyond.
We finished the week with our 2 Ways Athletics Carnival, a fantastic day filled with participation, encouragement and plenty of school spirit.
A huge thank you goes to our incredible staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to organise these opportunities and support our students every step of the way. Thank you also to our parents and families who came along to cheer on the students and help make these events so special.
A special thank you to Chris Jackson for bringing together the Combined Schools Choir. Your visible leadership, passion and dedication continue to inspire others to follow.
Most importantly, our students did us proud at every single event. They demonstrated exemplary behaviour, outstanding sportsmanship and represented our school with pride. Despite some very long and busy days, they continued to give their very best in true Pilliga style.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
