'Big smiles, brave little learners, and healthy habits! 🦷✨ our children enjoyed an exciting visit to the dentist where they explored the dental clinic, practised brushing skills, and learned how to care for their teeth. They even took home a toothbrush and sticker! 💙🪥

Christmas In July
Today we celebrated Christmas in July to wrap up our School Holiday Program! 🎄❄️
Our team got into the festive spirit, and the children came dressed in their favourite Christmas outfits, making the day even more magical. We had so much fun creating our own snow globes, singing along to our favourite Christmas songs, and enjoying a day filled with laughter, creativity, and holiday cheer.
What a wonderful way to finish an unforgettable holiday program! ❤️🎅

'Our July Holiday Program has been a whirlwind of fun, adventure, and meaningful learning! 🌟
From meeting Cinnamon the Snake (Levi's much-loved family pet 🐍), to cooking damper during NAIDOC Week, exploring a local farm, dancing the day away at our disco, and finishing with a festive Christmas in July celebration, every day has been filled with smiles and unforgettable experiences.
A huge thank you to our incredible team, wonderful families, and amazing children for getting involved and helping make this winter holiday program our best one yet! ❤️❄️'

'50 Years of Deadly'

'Throughout the week, children and families engaged in meaningful experiences celebrating culture, community, and belonging. Families reflected on the question, “What do culture and community mean to you?” while exploring cultural artworks, encouraging conversations about identity, diversity, and respect.
Children and families also explored Aboriginal cultural elements through displays of a yidaki (didgeridoo) and boomerangs, along with sensory and creative play experiences inspired by the week’s cultural focus. The collaborative “Building the Tree” activity brought families together to contribute, connect, and create a shared symbol of community.
These experiences supported children’s understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, while fostering curiosity, respect, identity, belonging, and strong connections between children, families, educators, and the wider community.'

'What do you do when it rains on the day of your Teddy Bears' Picnic? You transform your dining room, of course!
We had so much fun creating our magical, fairy-lit indoor forest. First, we went on a bear hunt, and once we'd found all our bears, we spread out our picnic blanket and invited them to join us for a delicious feast.
Sometimes, the best adventures happen indoors. 🧸✨🌿'

'Our Explorers children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Banjup Local! We had so much fun feeding the friendly animals, exploring the playground, and soaking up the warm community atmosphere.
After all the excitement, we enjoyed delicious babycinos before hopping back on the bus and heading back to Village.
It was a fantastic adventure and a great opportunity for the children to explore and connect with our local community while creating special memories together.'

As part of our First Responders Day experience, the children watched an online video to learn about who first responders are and the important roles they play in our community. Later, two police cadets, Hudson and Nicholas from the Canning Vale Police Station, visited the kindergarten and engaged positively with the children through discussions, demonstrations, and interactive activities.

Robot Park excursion
Last week, our Explorers children enjoyed an exciting excursion to our local Robot Park. The children had a wonderful time exploring their local community, discovering new surroundings, and engaging in active play. They eagerly explored the unique playground equipment, challenged themselves in a new environment, and enjoyed spending time with their friends. Excursions like these provide valuable opportunities for children to build confidence, develop social skills, and strengthen their connection to the community. It was a fun-filled day of adventure, learning, and exploration for everyone involved.'

'Today we enjoyed a Yoga session with Flexible Friends Yoga at Village Piara Waters.
Miss Jody helped us to master the Downward Dog, Tree and Cobra poses while enjoying a soothing sound bath in our Sensory Room.
Yoga is a fantastic way to enhance balance and coordination while also promoting relaxation and self-regulation skills. Our budding Yogi's had a blast mastering these new skills while enjoying the ambience of our Sensory space.'
