I would like to invite you to the gig below. I am playing first trombone, and also playing a solo on a piece featuring trombone (I'll keep that piece a secret!).

I have to say that as a performer, this program is so much fun. The arrangements are a range of swing, funk, disco and ballad and have been arranged by a member of the band who is an incredible musician and arranger. If you love ABBA and you love music this is an unmissable gig. I can't wait to be performing and I can't wait to see you there! Help us fill the theatre!

Blamey St Big Band in a must see concert!

BLAMEY ST BIG BAND IS BACK!

Following the success of their most recent shows (including 'Blamey Street Swings The Beatles' last year), the Blamey Street Big Band now turns to the music of Sarah Vaughan to celebrate her 100th year anniversary.

Along with Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah helped popularise the art of jazz singing, influencing generations of vocalists who followed her. Leisa Keen will again front the Blamey Street Big Band to bring to life the bebop style and exact s**t solos for which Sarah was so renowned. Tickets are on sale now - don't miss out!
