What an incredible day!

As we have had a few weeks rest and wrapping up the last few things, we reflect on our 2026 Kurwongbah State School Family Fete, we are filled with gratitude for every single person who helped make the day such a wonderful fun filled day.

To our amazing school community – thank you for coming along, supporting our stalls, enjoying the entertainment, and celebrating 40 years of Kurwongbah State School with us. Seeing so many smiling faces made all the hard work worthwhile.

To our incredible volunteers – thank you for giving up your time before, during, and after the fete. Whether you helped with planning, setting up, running a stall, cooking a BBQ, packing away, or volunteered for just an hour, your contribution was invaluable. Events like this simply wouldn't happen without you.

To our stall convenors and Fete Committee – thank you for the countless hours you dedicated over many months. Your passion, commitment, and teamwork brought this event to life.

To our teachers, staff, students and P&C members – thank you for your support, enthusiasm and willingness to jump in wherever you were needed.

To our wonderful sponsors and generous donors – your support played a huge part in making this event possible. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and your commitment to supporting our school community.

To our vendors, food trucks, ride operators, emergency services and community groups, – thank you for helping create such a fun, welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. We loved having you as part of our day.

A special thank you also goes to everyone who donated prizes, baked for our stalls, lent equipment, shared our posts, bought raffle tickets, volunteered behind the scenes, or helped in ways big and small. Every contribution made a difference.

Finally, thank you to everyone who braved the weather forecast and joined us. Thankfully the rain stayed away, and together we created a fantastic day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit.

We are so proud of what we achieved together. Every dollar raised will go back into our school to benefit our students, and that's something our whole community can be proud of.

After a few days to catch our breath following an incredible weekend, we'd like to take a moment to say thank you.

To all of our amazing sponsors – whether you supported us as a Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze Sponsor, or generously donated prizes, products or services to one of our stalls, thank you. Every contribution, no matter the size, played a part in making our Family Fete such a success. We truly couldn't have done it without your generosity and support. Over the coming weeks, we'll be recognising each of our sponsorship levels and shining a spotlight on the wonderful businesses and individuals who helped make the day possible.

To every volunteer who gave up their time to help before, during and after the fete – thank you. Community events like this simply can't happen without volunteers. While we were a little short on numbers this year, those who stepped up worked incredibly hard, and we are so grateful for your time, energy and dedication.

And finally, thank you to our wonderful school community and everyone who came along to celebrate with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did! After keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast all week, we were thrilled that it held off and allowed everyone to enjoy a fantastic day filled with laughter, fun and community spirit.
