First year, second semester 2015 - project one submission. Students were asked to respond to a western australian artisit and create a "touchstone" from which they will design a small building in project 2.
CARDBOARD COLLECTION FRIDAY 1PM
.ok so boxman has promised to deliver the cardboard on Friday (tomorrow, 21 May) at 1pm. I assume you can collect from the loading bays off level two. Please be there to collect at 1pm, or have some one pick yours up. Otherwise the card may be returned with boxman or left in the rain. ...
If the drawings ( plans, sections and elevations + axo) won't fit nicely onto one A3 page, then you can use two pages. There is some extra space on your presentation board.

As an ice breaker and welcome to architecture at Curtin, the first years had an assignment to build a sandcastle! Each group of five students was given a famous architect and one of thier buildings to re-invent and re-construct in sand! Have a look at how well they did. The week was finished with a BBQ and drinks
