Doubleview family of Lodges conducted an Initiation ceremony tonight. Thank you to all Brethren who attended and assisted tonight.

Brethren, if anyone would like to help for a couple of hours at the Freemason stand, which we will have up at the PERTH ROYAL SHOW this year. Please email brother Covich at [email protected] to register your interest and support. Free entry to the Royal Show will be provided, and the expectation is 3 or 4 hours working at the stand.

Upcoming events for Masonic visitors

A reminder that we now have a whiteboard up in the Lodge room with all upcoming meetings, dates, times and special events for the Lodges using the Doubleview hall. All brethren are encouraged to inter-visit and support the Doubleview lodges as a priority if you have the time and availability.

If you have recommendations to improve our dinners (the south) please share with us, or comment on this post your ideas.

Doubleview family of Lodges has held a meeting on 9th June 2019. Key topics discussed were (1) A resolution to better support each of the Lodges that meet at Doubleview- particularly during significant ceremonies such as Installations. (2) monthly newsletter - community of lodges to be sent digitally. (3) A notice board inside the building with Lodge business and dates to encourage visitation (4) possibly a family of Lodges bbq in the car park in Jan or Feb 2020.

A document we have been developing for newly initiated Freemason members in one of the Lodges which operates out of Doubleview (Seaview). Freemasonry can be confusing when somebody is first initiated, this document helps explain some of the workings within a Freemason lodge. Only the practical aspects of Lodge membership are discussed in this document. No secrets or ritual work.
