We’re always looking for ways to reduce waste and give everyday materials a second life at Tiny Trails. Our little explorers LOVE drawing, creating, cutting, painting and turning ordinary pieces of paper into something completely new ✂️🎨

So, if your business has any clean scrap paper, misprints, single-sided pages, offcuts or paper that would otherwise head to the recycling bin, we’d love to give it a new home 💚

Every little piece becomes part of an adventure and we’d love to turn your scraps into something magical ✨♻️

Today we celebrate the incredible educators who make childhood so magical ❤️

Every day, our educators show up with patience, kindness, creativity and so much heart! They nurture little minds, encourage big imaginations, celebrate the small wins, provide comfort when it’s needed and create spaces where children feel safe, confident and free to explore 👣

Early education is made up of thousands of little moments… Messy hands, big laughs, curious questions, cuddles, discoveries, friendships and those beautiful “I did it!” moments 🤩

To every educator across our Tiny Trails family, thank you for the heart you bring to your work and for the difference you make in the lives of our children and families.

From a blank ocean… to a sea full of imagination!

Our ocean mural has come to life 💙

What started as a simple underwater scene has been transformed by the children as they added their very own sea creatures and ideas. From colourful jellyfish to curious ocean creatures, every little addition has helped make this mural uniquely theirs.

A beautiful reminder that when children are given the space to create, their ideas can take us somewhere wonderful 🐚✨

✨ Never stop learning, Never stop growing ✨

Tonight our team came together for professional development, continuing to build our knowledge, challenge our thinking and strengthen the way we support the children in our care.

Because in early childhood, learning never really ends and that’s something we are proud to embrace! Every new idea, every conversation and every piece of knowledge helps us grow as educators.

Tonight, Kel is at Tiny Trails Early Learning in Belmont!

Kel is spending the evening with the team, presenting our Understanding the Four Functions of Behaviour Workshop.

This workshop explores the why behind behaviour—supporting educators to better understand the four key functions of behaviour: sensory, escape or avoidance, attention, and tangible.

By looking beyond what we see on the surface, educators can build greater confidence in recognising triggers, understanding underlying needs and responding with more purposeful strategies.

Proudly independent. Proudly local.

I grew up in Redcliffe 💜 So having the opportunity to now be part of the early learning community here feels pretty special.

I’m not a large corporate provider. I’m an educator and a Mum who cares deeply about this work and about protecting the small, homely and heartfelt services that make our communities unique ❤️

Being independent means I can make thoughtful decisions for the children and families who are part of our community. I can listen, adapt and care about the little things that make a big difference.

I’m proud to support Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) and the Proudly Independent, Proudly Local campaign. Thank you for giving us a voice 💚

A few cardboard boxes. Some paint. A whole lot of imagination… Suddenly we had a project that kept growing and changing as the children added their ideas.

They painted, experimented, stuck, layered, problem solved and worked alongside one another. They watched their ideas take shape, changed their minds, added something new and helped each other along the way.

But really, the magic was never in what it became. It was in the process 💛

The messy hands. The conversations. The decisions. The pride when they saw their ideas come to life 🌟

This is where learning happens. When children have the freedom to create, explore and take an idea somewhere of their own 🌼
