Did you know our teachers give out practice planners at the beginning of each term to help you track what your child should be working on each week. everyone's practice will look different so don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher to get some advice on how to help your child progress.

RECITALS //

Our students and teachers are hard at work preparing for our end of year recitals!

It’s a great way for students to showcase of all of their hard work, and gives them great performance experience too.

Parents are welcome to watch the recitals, supporting all young musicians. Recitals are already underway, so make sure to keep up to date when your child’s scheduled day is!

Keyed Up Music understands you may not be able to buy a musical instrument for your child right away.

That’s why we began our program ‘Hire to Have’.

This allows you to hire an instrument for your child to try out, then if you decide to buy, you can purchase the instrument at a reduced rate!

Have your kids started practicing their recital piece? why not try a mini concert at home with them to help prepare them, you can also ask their lesson teachers for tips or things to look out for when they play. Most importantly! keep it fun and encouraging, first time performers can be very nervous about what to expect.

DEVELOPING PIANO SKILLS //

Learning an instrument takes time! However, having the right teacher makes all the difference in your child’s music lessons.

We have such patient, kind keyboard teachers with us at Keyed Up Music, ready to develop your child’s musical skills on the piano or keyboard.

If your child is learning keyboard, aim for at least 10 minutes practice, 5 days a week to keep up consistent music knowledge and finger strength.
