Note for future ... when using acrylic paint with messy 4 year olds, put old clothes on instead of her fav princess dress 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

Went out for a little bit this morning for a coffee and cars display. So many awesome cars but so very hot in the sun! Was an OK outing - as always with ND kids, no matter how much planning and prep is done, someone will be upset about something. But we believe it's still important to get out into the world as much as possible because learning to cope happens with small doses of exposure 😉 also, loved dressing matchy with my wee girl (trying to find the beautiful makers page ... will post when I find it. She was my market neighbour at Beach Hop)

Merry Christmas from our family to yours 💙 sometimes the excitement can be a lot for young ones (and even adults). Don't forget - it's OK to take quiet time away from the busy and noisy spaces. And it's normal for kids to get overwhelmed and to have trouble coping with it all. Don't let it ruin the day - let the emotions pass and carry on.

It's almost Christmas!! We are very busy organising our lives in Perth - have found wonderful schools for our ND kiddies. I have 4 more weeks till I start work. And I'm keeping the Moxie Mama social media going to share our journey and stay in touch with everyone. Hopefully some of our experiences can help others too 😊
