Futures Sparked at Perth Careers Week🔥🎓 During their Follow the Dream Leadership camp in Perth during our careers week, five year 12 students from St Philip's College, Alice Springs were so inspired by their visit to UWA School of Indigenous Studies they’ve applied for the Aboriginal Orientation Course in 2026! After attending the Follow the Dream Careers Expo and dropping into the Polly Farmer House to say hi 👋🏾 students spent the week exploring Perth's university campuses and connecting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support staff. The experience opened doors and minds. These five students are now taking bold steps toward their future, and it all started with our Perth careers week camp. Ahead of next week’s Indigenous Nationals, our 30-strong team received their 2025 jerseys - featuring powerful artwork by Dr Richard Walley that speaks to connection, community and coming together on Country. UWA is proud to host more than 500 Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students from across Australia for a massive week of sport, culture and celebration on Noongar Boodjar. Let’s go Maaliwah! 💙
