Designed for students in Years 4–8, this intensive Writing Masterclass helps students develop the skills needed to craft engaging, sophisticated responses that stand out to teachers, exam markers, and GATE assessors. Students will learn how to generate powerful ideas, structure their writing effectively, and use language techniques that elevate their work.

The workshop is led by our Principal, Trish, a former GATE Writing Marker. Drawing on her expertise and proven strategies, this session is ideal for students preparing for selective school, scholarship, and GATE assessments, or simply looking to strengthen their writing skills

Students will learn:
⦁ How to develop original and compelling ideas
⦁ Techniques to improve creativity and expression
⦁ Effective planning and structure for written responses
⦁ Strategies used by high-scoring writers
⦁ Tips for writing with confidence under timed conditions
