John has dealt with neck pain for years and had tried a lot of different things without finding lasting relief.
Over time, John, myself, and Dr Adam from have worked together with consistent treatment, release work, and regular adjustments to help keep him moving and functioning at his best.
And it’s paying off 👏
For the first time in years, his neck pain has significantly reduced and this past weekend he went on to WIN the Forest Rally in Nannup, the second round of the Australian Rally Championship 🏆
An incredible achievement and very well deserved.
Well done John, and thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.

Fascia is fascia-nating (haha see? I got jokes).
But “fascia stores emotion” is one of those claims that gets repeated far more strongly than it is supported scientifically.
Stress and emotions absolutely affect the body. That part is definitely real. We know how and why and there is a tonne of research to back this up. But that’s very different from emotions being physically trapped inside connective tissue.

📢 Pain isn’t just influenced by tissues!
Hormones can affect:
Pain sensitivity
Inflammation
Recovery
Stress responses
Nervous system sensitivity
Which is why symptoms can sometimes fluctuate even without a new injury.
Remember... your body is a whole system, not just a collection of muscles and bones!

Pain flare ups can be super frustrating because they often feel like you’ve gone backwards overnight.
BUT
bodies are more complicated than that.
Pain isn’t just about tissues. It’s also influenced by stress, sleep, recovery, nervous system sensitivity, workload, and yes, hormones too.
And that's okay! It just means your body is human.
The goal during a flare up is to not panic, and look at it as feedback to better understand what your system might need more (or less) of right now.

“Why is that tight?” is probably the question I get asked the most.
And it’s rarely just one simple answer. Sometimes its strength. Sometimes it’s workload. Sometimes it’s your daily habits quietly doing their thing in the background. And sometimes you’re just a bit cooked 😅
The important part is figuring out which one applies to you so you’re not just throwing random stretches at the problem and hoping for the best.
Remember, your body is incredible at figuring out ways to get the job done. This isn't a bad thing! Sometimes we just need to give it better working conditions.
