After much thought, careful consideration, and extensive discussion, our service has made the difficult decision to close our Pre-Kindy program at the end of 2024. We have officially surrendered our childcare license and are now in the process of packing up. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 30 years. Your support and shared experiences have meant so much to us.

We had an amazing day celebrating our educators. Thank you to our amazing parents that kept us hydrated with Jamaica Blue coffees and many sweet treats we felt very appreciated.

Last week, our Prekindy had a visit from St John Ambulance. This continued our program on community helpers.
Alyssa from St John read us a story and then provided us an opportunity to walk through the ambulance and ask questions.
Learn about emergency services teach children about safety (1.1), health (3.2), and the community (2.1). This topic also connects children to people and places (4.4).

This week, our Prekindy classes enjoyed a visit from Critters Up Close. Our children, child health nurses and educators had a great time interacting with snakes, lizards, a duck, a sugar glider, a turtle, an owl, and much more. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Discovery Club is an early education program for children aged 2 to 3 years and their caregiver (a parent or Guardian stay with the child). The program is lead by an Early Childhood Teacher. Offered Friday Mornings 9:30am to 11:30am during school terms. For more information please contact us.
