I am 'The Babysitter Perth'. For those who haven't met me yet, I hope this helps to answer some questions you may have about me, my training, experience & rates...
I'm a mum of four boys, and also an approved foster carer for Newborns - so we are often a family of 7! I've studied the Diploma and Certificate 3 in Children's Services and the Certificate 3 in Community Services (Child Protection, Statutory Supervision & Juvenile Justice). I have worked for many Childcare Centres across Perth as a Childcare Educator (including managing 2 Childcare Centres). I've also worked at Wanslea Family Services in the Family Day Care office and Co-ordinating the In Home Care Program. In 2008 I worked as an Inclusion Support Facilitator with Child Australia.

More recently, in the last 11 years, (and currently) I have been working part time as a newborn photographer in my own small business.

I am reliable, mature, responsible, friendly, kind, caring and trustworthy. I have experience with all ages, but most of my professional experience has been mainly working with newborns, babies & toddlers.

I have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.

My casual babysitting rates are $35 per hour.

I'm mainly available in the evenings, however I am available for some casual daytime work too. I am based in the Wanneroo / Joondalup area, and happy to travel in the northern suburbs but can travel further on request.

With my extensive experience with babies I'm able to be a mother's help for you and your newborns, if you just need an additional hand and some encouraging support to help and guide you through the first weeks of motherhood.

Between 1998 & 2001 I studied the Diploma and Certificate 3 in Children's Services and the Certificate 3 in Community Services (Child Protection, Statutory Supervision & Juvenile Justice). I have worked in many Childcare Centres across Perth as a Childcare Educator (including managing 2 Childcare Centres). I've been nannying and babysitting since I was a teenager. I've also worked at Wanslea Family Services in the Family Day Care office and Co-ordinating the In Home Care Program. After that I worked as an Inclusion Support Facilitator with Child Australia.
More recently, the last 10 years, (and currently) I have been working part time as a newborn photographer in my own small business.
I am very reliable, mature, responsible, friendly, kind, caring and trustworthy. I have experience with all ages, but most of my professional experience has been mainly working with newborns, babies & toddlers. I enjoy finding out what interests your children & helping them learn & develop their skills to their full potential. I am very comfortable playing outside with busy & energetic little ones, but just as happy to have a cuddle, sing songs, read stories, and rock little ones to sleep too.
I have a current Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and First Aid Certificate.
My rates during the day are $35 per hour and I offer a reduced rate of $30 per hour for evening babysitting after 7pm.

Due to my own children needs, I'm mainly available in the evenings. I am based in the Wanneroo / Joondalup area, and happy to travel in the northern suburbs but can travel further on request.

I love this idea of edible paints in the bath for babies and toddlers! So much fun and so easy to clean up! 😁

• EDIBLE BABY PAINT • Another fun sensory experience for 6 months + 🥳 (your TODDLERS will also love to get involved in this one alongside baby!) . 👉🏻 Mix 1 part baby rice cereal with 3 parts water (I did 1/2 cup rice cereal and 1.5 cups water) 👉🏻 Put a few drops of food colouring in 👉🏻 Mix well 👉🏻 Place in a heavy tray (so baby can’t flip it) along with a pastry brush 👉🏻 Place in the bath or shower on a non-slip mat, or do it outside so you can hose off at the end 😅 . Miss 7 months and Miss 3 loved playing with this together! .
