A few more moments from our nature walk last week 🌿

It’s often the in-between parts that matter most - the conversations while walking, what they stop to look at, the little things they notice.

Along the way, we also did a tree hunt, noticing different shapes, textures, and what makes each one unique. It turned into lots of questions, observations, and shared moments as we explored together 🌱🌻🌳☀️

We headed out for a nature walk earlier this week, taking our time and noticing what’s around us - a simple part of the day that gives children space to be outside, move freely, and take it all in. 🌿

As they walk, you hear the conversations, the questions, the small things they start to notice. It’s a change of pace from the classroom, and that shift is where a lot of learning naturally happens.

On the weekend, our teams from across all Tribe centres came together for our annual Tribe Conference - a dedicated day of professional learning and development 🌱

It was an opportunity to step back from our day-to-day roles, connect as a team, and continue building on our knowledge as educators.

We explored creative nature play through art with Kelly Goodsir from The Creative Collection, and took part in the Playing with Gratitude Project with Rod Soper. Both sessions encouraged reflection, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how nature play and gratitude can be meaningfully embedded into children’s learning 🌏

🧠 Ongoing learning is a big part of what shapes the experiences we create for children, and days like this allow us to keep evolving, growing, and strengthening our practice.
