Meet Cathy.. if you don’t know her already! Cathy has been a friend of mine and a Journeys guide now for 10 years. We first met through Cancer Support WA and I fell in love with her vibrant spirit from the day I met her. Cathy has helped thousands of people on their healing journey by inspiring them to change their perception of life and its challenges. A Clinical Hypnotherapist, speaker, previous Wellness Facilitator for Cancer Support WA (for 30 years), plus now the Mentor Lead for Allievi8, Cathy is a great advocate for the mind body connection, believing that “if you always do what you have always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got. So if you need to change your life, you need to change your mind”. In 1989, shortly after discovering a red dot on her arm, she was diagnosed with a secondary melanoma and told she only had months to live. With chemotherapy and radiotherapy deemed ineffective treatments, Cathy decided to find her own answer to cancer, joining Cancer Support WA and exploring complementary therapy treatments that support healing of the whole person, body, mind and spirit. This lead to her making a complete recovery.Cathy also loves to explore the world, spend time with her beautiful family and has learnt to play the ukulele!
