Jackie's Family Day Care

Our Story

Hi my name is Jackie I am a mother of two Adult children & Grandmother of four.
I started my family day care in Craigie 13 years ago before moving to Ravenswood in 2019 to be closer to family who live in the area.
I have left photos from my Craigie day care on the site so parents can see some of the expediences on offer to the children who attend my service.
I have been a qualified child care Educator for 13 years with community vision Family Day Care scheme, centrelink child care rebate CCS is available to eligible parents.
I am fully licensed through community vision and the shire of Murray which includes police clearance, working with children check, first aid etc and have attended numerous training courses over the years.
The aim of my family day care is to provide a safe fun environment where each child can grow and develop at their own pace, while providing learn through play experiences and opportunities for each child to develop physically, socially, emotionally & intellectually at the same time as promoting self help skills with all children in preparation for a soother transition to school.
Parents involvement in our service is encouraged and valued. A love of books is very important to me I read to the children in my care on a daily basis from a young age.
As it is such a small group I am able to focus on each child as an individual providing for their own patterns and stages of development there by building healthy self esteem and a strong sense of identity.
