Today marks the one year anniversary of the passing of Kerry Pergamalis. Those who trained with Kerry, knew how much of a standup man he was. Always ready to jump in and give his all, not just for himself, but for the benefit of his training partners also. Most people walk through our doors for the first time as nothing and become warriors, Kerry walked in a warrior. Someone who would make sure everyone else in the class’s training got accommodated before his own, yet still showing an impressive performance of combat. We are lucky to have had Kerry as a student and training partner and you will always have a place with us in the gym 🤜🫷

After 5 years, Perth Wing Chun is opening our doors to 15 new students — both complete beginners and those with prior experience.
We don’t open enrolment very often because we’re committed to maintaining high quality and personalised training rather than growing too large. This is a rare opportunity to join our school.

Thursday night sparring class at Perth Wing Chun Academy.

Pressure testing, timing, structure, and real contact ,this is where Wing Chun gets honest. Sparring isn’t about winning; it’s about exposing weaknesses, sharpening awareness, and learning to stay calm under pressure.

This class runs every Thursday, focused purely on sparring and application. If you want to understand how your Wing Chun holds up when things move fast and hit back, this is the room to be in.
