Your life has seasons - so do you.

I’m not my leanest, my strongest, my most muscular BUT I’m doing what I can.

Our life has seasons and we need to understand that if all you have to give is 60% then that 60% is 100% of what you have to give.

When life allows for more do more BIT when it does not we do what we can.

For right now my 100% is working out in lunch breaks and getting my steps to 10k running around with my kids.

So proud of the words my girl here shared about her journey too 🥹 ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Testimonial- ‘Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for creating a space where people can come without judgment and truly feel safe. It’s been just a few months of navigating various obstacles, and I’m amazed at how far we’ve come together. Over the years, especially after having children, I developed an unhealthy relationship with food and myself.

Together, we’ve built a sustainable and realistic lifestyle that balances mental health, physical health, and nutrition. I honestly couldn’t have made it this far without you! Your guidance, assistance, and, most importantly, your understanding have been invaluable.’

We’re not done yet

That 10 week rebuild check in ⬅️ 52.7 ➡️ 55.3

Slowly and slowly I’m rebuilding my shape. It’s been hard and I’ve not been as committed as I should have been to this process. But sometimes ‘good enough’ can get you moving in the right direction.

Training on average 4 sessions per week
10k steps daily
40mins cardio across 2 sessions per each week

This process has been interrupted by migraines and mumlife BUT that is life. There is always interruption.

Also if my hamstrings could just like not do that thing they do… that would be great 😅🙃 oh and cellulite for all the girlies who don’t see it enough.

Fast family (and macro friendly) Meals.

If you know me, you know I like food BUT after doing 10 years of meal prep (many of them poorly) I hate spending too much time for family/weekday meals in the kitchen.

And well 🙅🏼‍♀️ who’s got time for hardcore meal making midweek?

These recipes are some of my easy go to’s that are on heavy regular rotation in our house 😅

- they’re easy to adjust for each person’s preferences
- all family members eat these
- they’re adjustable to suit fitness friendly lifestyles
- they can be as simple or as boujee as you like
- they all taste great

You’re welcome 😇

Quick confession… my first 5 years in the gym. I didn’t measure or track progressive overload.

I trained based on my mood, always working ‘hard’ BUT it only got me so far AND HONESTLY, I robbed myself of the progress I could have made during those years.

But programs are so boring right? 😴 You know what’s really fu***ng boring, not getting results.

What matters more than what you weigh?

YOUR BODY COMPOSITION! Muscle completely changes how your body looks, ages & functions.

More muscle means you’ll look different at any weight, more muscle supports metabolism and metabolic health, more muscle means less risk factors like osteoporosis and sarcopenia.

MORE MUSCLE is the fountain of youth for us ladies not just because muscle is all of the things about BUT because of what we have to do to grow it and then keep it.

More muscle should be the main goal of women during their lifetime NOT simply weighing less.

I made a mistake this week…

I went and joined the burning man 2025 group on Facebook and now I get continued updates on my feed of the coolest stuff that sends me daydreaming of about dressing up and art filled adventures…

Let’s be clear - as a 38 year-old mama of two still very young boys - it’s not in my near future to attend 😅

Maybe one day we can all go together BUT until then. here is a burning man inspired shoot from a few years ago from people I miss dearly. .media

Here’s to following your heart with passion - even as an adult. Here’s to looking after yourself, mind, body, soul - so you can do these things for all of your life.

🔈 Quick reminder… social media in not *real*

Here’s me - two secs apart, different angle and posture…

I LOOK entirely different. So remember while you’re scrolling here to focus on building yourself, your fitness, your routine, your macros, your nutrition, your strength & progress all needs to be moving forward with Comparisons ONLY of yourself.

Chances are that girl you see on socials … does look like herself either.

Comparison is the thief of joy, progress and a strong sense of self.

Let’s not 🦩 🦚
