🎉 Congratulations, Erin, on 7 incredible years with The Atlantis Group! 💜

Seven years is such a wonderful milestone, and we’re so proud to celebrate you, Erin, and the incredible contribution you continue to make to our Atlantis family.

At our Yanchep Vertex centre, Erin has created a truly beautiful and welcoming space where children and families feel connected, valued and at home. Her warmth and genuine care shine through in everything she does.

💛 Happy Educators Week! 💛

To our incredible educators across The Atlantis Group and Tall Tree Early Learning,

This Educators Week, we want to take a moment to say one very important thing — thank you.

Thank you for the love, patience, energy and care you bring to your work every single day. Thank you for the little moments that often go unseen — the comforting cuddle, the encouraging words, the messy art experience, the extra story, the helping hand and the countless smiles you share with our children.

What you do matters. Every day.

You are helping shape curious minds, build confident little people and create the foundations for lifelong learning. But perhaps most importantly, you create places where children feel safe, valued, heard, respected and loved.

We are incredibly grateful for the passion and heart you bring to our centres and to the families who trust us with their most precious people.

So this week, we celebrate YOU — our educators, our superheroes, our role models and the people who make such a difference in the lives of children and families.

Thank you for everything you do, for the difference you make and for being such an important part of the Atlantis Group and Tall Tree family.

There's nothing more affirming than seeing research confirm what our Educators witness first-hand every day. That when children move, play and explore, they don't just grow stronger. They grow as learners, as friends, and as little people finding their place in the world. 💙

We're proud to see this beautiful piece from The Kids Research Institute Australia and Play Active, celebrating the role early learning services play in children's health research this National Science Week. 🔬

Among the voices featured is our very own CEO, Todd Dawson, a long-term research collaborator who has championed evidence-based early years practice for well over a decade.

"For us it came down to a simple conviction," Todd shares. "The early years aren't a rehearsal for development, they are the development. We suspected that active play did far more than build strong bodies, but partnering with Play Active and The Kids Research Institute Australia meant we didn't have to rely on assumption. We could ground our practice in real research and see the results across every area of development for ourselves."

That belief sits at the heart of how we work. "What's been most exciting," Todd adds, "is seeing benefits that reach well beyond the physical, into children's numeracy, literacy, and their social and emotional development. When you get active play right, you're not choosing between physical health and learning. You're strengthening both at once."

We're honoured to stand alongside The Kids Research Institute Australia, Play Active, and every service across the country contributing to healthier futures for our children.

🎉 🎉 Cool Treats for Our Local Community at Currambine Primary School P&C

Last Friday, we joined the children and P&C from Currambine Primary School to enjoy a cool treat to wrap up the week. We were thrilled to team up with the school for their recent fundraiser, with Atlantis Group donating over 700 icy poles for the students to enjoy.

Seeing all those big smiles (and bright blue tongues!) made it an absolute highlight for our team.

A massive thank you to the educators from Atlantis Education Centre Ocean Keys and Courtney from the P&C Team, who helped organize the day and pull off such a smooth event. We are so proud to support our local school community! 💙

Hello Djilba 🐣

The wettest time of the year, Makuru, has come to a close which means Djilba is here! Typically spanning August and September, Djilba is the Noongar season of Conception and represented by the colour pink 🌸

During this season we see fewer rainy days and more sun as the weather begins to warm up. 🌞 Warmer weather brings with it the sights and sounds of newborn animals and their proud parents. 🐥 Nest bound birds, like Koolbardi (Magpie) and Djidi Djidi (W***y Wag Tails), will exhibit protective behaviours like swooping this season.

Djilba also brings the start of our flowering season, starting with yellow flowering plants (such as acacias). 🌻

🐞 Sometimes the best learning happens when little hands are free to explore.

Our toddlers at Tall Tree Early Learning - Landsdale loved investigating this sensory insect invitation, discovering different textures, using their imaginations, and embracing the joy of messy play. Once the fun was over, everyone worked together to pack away the resources, care for their learning environment, and show respect for their space and each other.

Messy play builds creativity, while cleaning up together nurtures responsibility, teamwork, and independence, valuable skills that grow alongside every adventure. 💚
