Inspiring the Next Generation of Musicians.
Last week, our Year 11 and 12 music students had an incredible opportunity to visit . They enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, exploring the design and processes of a professional recording studio, before stepping into the spotlight to record their own band pieces live!
This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of the music industry - a vital part of the Certificate course we offer at the College and left them feeling inspired and excited about their future in music.

The students absolutely loved every moment and returned to school buzzing with creativity!

The Year 7s stepped back into Ancient Egypt today!
What better way to learn about the mummification process, ancient beliefs, rituals, and the importance of the afterlife in Egyptian society than through a fun, hands-on activity wrapping our own “mummies” in class! Safe to say there were plenty of laughs (and a lot of toilet paper) involved!

Our Year 8 Outdoor Education students put their fishing skills into action at Moore River, reeling in and safely releasing 37 fish. A great day of teamwork, respect for the outdoors and plenty of smiles along the way!

At the end of last term, our Aranmore Catholic College touring team of 18 students travelled to Japan for an unforgettable experience. From exploring Tokyo and visiting Mt Fuji to enjoying DisneySea, local cuisine and live sport, students were immersed in a rich cultural journey.
On the field, they rose to the challenge with three hard-earned rugby victories. Beyond the game, the tour reflects the Aranmore spirit - building global awareness, respect and lifelong memories through shared experiences and the dedication of our staff.

Our Year 9 scientists have been investigating which elements are metals, using conductivity tests and the periodic table to guide their thinking.
