Teachers, listen up! Your job is not just a job—it's a calling, a passion, a commitment to shaping the future. When you learn better ways to teach, it's not just a suggestion, it's a moral obligation to implement those improvements. How many students miss out on reaching their full potential because a teacher is content with just doing the bare minimum?

Teaching isn't about clocking in and out; it's about dedicating your time, energy, and holidays to finding better ways to educate and inspire your students. Every moment you spend in the classroom is an opportunity to change lives, to make a difference, and to shape the future of our world.

Teachers in Perth, I implore you to look at your role through a different lens. Ask yourself, "Do I want to settle for mediocrity, or do I want to be a catalyst for change?" Our kids don't have time for us to treat teaching as just a job. They deserve educators who are passionate, dedicated, and committed to their success.

Let's make a pledge to ourselves and our students to strive for excellence in everything we do. Let's embrace new ideas, new methods, and new ways of thinking. Together, we can change the world—one classroom at a time.

I have a VERY short attention span. Therefore presenters and professional learning experiences have been known to put me to sleep. The very best, engaging, knowledgeable and witty trainer I have ever had the privilege to learn under has very sadly died unexpectedly. I am beyond gutted not just for me but for all the people who will not have the opportunity to be a part of his learning. w.v.c.ed and it's founder William Van Cleave will be dearly missed by everyone in the OG, Science of Reading and the Dyslexic community. Rest Well my humorous friend. ❤️❤️🥰

Often as parents, we worry about medication for our children, is it the right thing, the wrong thing, will we be judged, etc. We have all been those parents. But, when you stand witness to this, the question answers itself.

These kids were working hard, they were not being silly or messing around and they all knew what they needed to do, they simply couldn't do it. 15 mins afterwards they did it without hesitation.

The difference medication can make to children

We've been quiet on the socials recently; getting our head around our students needs etc.

This week's update, students averaging a 10WPM (Words Per Minute) increase every 2-3 weeks, it may not sound a lot, but for kids who have struggled to learn to read it's momentous. 👏👏🎈🎊🏆
