Ocean Careers Event for teens ages 14-18. 🐋🦀🛥️🔬🤿

We are teaming up with the Oceans Institute Student Society (OISS) for this awesome event. This is a great opportunity to broaden your options for ocean-focused career paths.

We had a few requests about expanding the age range. It is now open to teens ages 14-18.

Attending parents/guardians may stay on at the event free of charge.

Blue Crew chipped in at the Secret Harbour coastal planting event. The community event was organised by and with support from .

We had a beautiful morning on the coast, putting in about 700 plants to help stabilise the dunes and create habitat for coastal critters.

World Ocean Day in Rockingham!

Two library sessions with lots of creative ocean lovers. It was so nice to have a chat about why our oceans are important, what makes a fish a fish, and ocean conservation. 🐟🐠🐡

We met such a cool bunch of ocean lovers today at Mary Davies Library & Community Centre, in Baldivis.

Everyone enjoyed the chance to unleash their creativity and learn a few new things about fish biodiversity and adaptations.

You guys made some of the best fish prints we've seen! 🐟🐠🐡

We had a great time at in Kwinana. The team did a great job working with their to run the Kwinana Young Leaders event.

So glad that could be a presenter today. We loved the chance to talk about connecting to the ocean, ocean challenges and carreer paths that can help young people find jobs to solve ocean issues.

I found a coconut that didn't really belong on a Rockingham beach. Looks like it had some sort of message on it... but only a corner of the white cardboard is left.
