Celebrating Reconciliation Week today with fresh damper for morning tea ❤️🖤💛

Next week we’re celebrating Reconciliation Week with a series of simple, joyful experiences — and we’d love to welcome children to join in the fun.

We kick off Monday with Messy Play, then we brings the energy with our Hey Dee Hoo music session on Tuesday, Mid-week we join in National Simultaneous Storytime, sharing Luna Roo together and celebrating the magic of early literacy. Continue with Walk on Country activity, taking time to reflect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land. Then we finish the week on Friday with a warm and welcoming Reconciliation Week Morning Tea.

If your child would like to join on a day they don’t usually attend, casual bookings are open — just let us know.

The children enjoyed a road safety sensory play experience filled with sand, toy cars, road signs, and small buildings 🚗🛑 They explored with curiosity, moved the cars through the tray, and practised the word “STOP” with the educator. Lots of fun, learning, and little hands busy exploring all morning ✨

This week, our toddlers enjoyed exploring a fun bee counting activity with lots of curiosity and excitement 🐝✨

With the support of educator Diana, the children matched the number cards and carefully counted the bees to the correct amount. Some pointed to each bee while counting aloud, while others used trial and error to find the right answer. There were plenty of “buzz buzz” sounds, laughter, and little fingers practising numbers along the way — especially number five! A lovely day full of learning, fun, and happy energy 🥰

This week, we were incredibly grateful to receive generous donations from Snap Fitness — including children’s books, toys, and many other useful resources for our centre ❤️

Seeing our community come together to support and care for our children means so much to us. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for helping create enriching experiences for the children every day 🥰
