🦷✨ Dental Week at Milestones Early Learning Yokine! ✨

Today we welcomed a special visitor, a friendly dentist! Our children proudly shared everything they’ve been learning about healthy teeth, practised brushing in gentle circular motions with a giant toothbrush, and discovered how everyday foods help keep our smiles strong.

One of the most heartwarming moments was seeing the children encourage their friends during their dental check-ups with smiles, claps, and kind words, showing such empathy and confidence.

We are proud to introduce Miss Giang, our passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader, whose kindness and genuine care create a warm and nurturing environment for our youngest learners.

Miss Giang believes every child deserves to feel loved, respected, and supported to reach their full potential. Through play-based learning and strong relationships, she helps children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Her dedication has been recognised across Affinity Education Group, where she was awarded Family Choice Educator of the Year 2024 and State Finalist for Nursery Educator of the Year 2025 - a reflection of the meaningful connections she builds with children and families and her commitment to excellence.

📚🐛 Book Worm Day was full of storytelling, and creativity at Milestones Early Learning Yokine!

The children enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, joining in as we counted the foods, explored the days of the week, and talked about making healthy food choices. They eagerly shared their ideas, recognised familiar fruits, and even made funny “tummy ache” faces like the caterpillar!

After the story, the children worked together to create their own hungry caterpillars, using their imagination, teamwork, and creativity to bring the story to life. 💚🦋
