Our Mid-Year Conference brought staff from across Alta1 together for connection, reflection and professional development.

We were privileged to learn from Sarah Ralston (Rebooting Now ) and Kim Chute (Crucial Dimensions ), whose insights challenged and inspired us as we continue growing our capacity to support young people to thrive.

Because when we invest in learning together, we create even greater opportunities for the students and communities we serve.

Yesterday we officially opened the new Alta1 Kimberley College classroom building in Kununurra.

We thank for formally opening the facility and for his support of the shared vision between Alta1, the Commonwealth and State Government, and the Kimberley community to strengthen outcomes for young women.

This new space represents a tangible investment in education, wellbeing, and future pathways for students in Kununurra.

The event also marked the introduction of a refreshed visual identity for the campus, developed through collaborative student and staff workshops which revealed themes of unity, safety and belonging. Thanks to Kevin Wilson and the team from .com.au for their partnership in this work.

This new space is more than a building.
It’s a place to grow strong, together.

We’ve refreshed how Alta1 shows up.

Because education should meet young people where they are - and help them discover where they’re going.

Same heart. Clearer voice.

Creativity came alive at the CARE CONNECT CREATE Exhibition!

From theme parks to distant planets, our students imagined new worlds of belonging and purpose. Their courage, resilience, and creativity showed that learning is more than textbooks its discovery, connection, and possibility.

We’re so proud of our students and teachers for daring to create and reimagine education. Next week, our regional campuses take the stage!

🌱 A Holistic Approach to Education, Rooted in Community

"I thought I had no future, but now I have a potential to do anything." – Jayden, Alta-1 student

At Alta-1, we understand the challenges many students face, which is why we create safe, nurturing environments where students are empowered to grow both academically and personally.

The Garden of Hope is just one of these supportive learning environments, Alta-1 students have access too. Through our bold new partnership with The Salvation Army, we’re transforming how vulnerable young people, and their families are supported. But don’t just take our word for it, watch the video and hear the impact we’re making directly from the students themselves.
