After spending some time fine-tuning the space, we are stoked to finally announce we have joined forces with The Hen House Studios! 🐔

It’s a pleasure to be a part of this creative community of bands, DJ’s, music producers, podcasters and other music artists.

The Hen House team have done such a great job building the studios and safe space for artists of all walks to be able to work, and we’re proud to be a part of it!

We’re back with some very exciting news!

Jeremy here - I’m back and Lab Six is back in full swing.

If you didn’t already know, I’ve been away for the past couple of weeks in France working in studio with Grammy winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson).

I learnt so much during my time away and some really exciting opportunities have arisen from the trip which I will share in due time.

I’m really looking forward to adding what I learnt while I was away to our music production courses and applying the skills to the local artists I’m producing for.

My time in France has made me realise that music production is my calling, while I love teaching I will be working to balance my time more equally between producing music for other artists and teaching the next crop of music producers and DJs here in Perth.

In order to do this I have made the decision to change up the way we conduct business at Lab Six. For the first time ever, we will be moving at the end of this month into a proper music studio, instead of the office building we are currently in, where we will be able to teach our Music Production and DJ programs, but also produce music at a more professional level. More updates to come in the next week.

This will not affect our current clients, but if you are a current client and have any questions or concerns, or if you’re an artist looking for some production drop us a message!

I look forward to reigning in the next phase for Lab Six - where we will be evolving into a fully fledged production house and studio, as well as the Music Production snd DJ school we already are.

🎵 New Music from Lab Six Studio

We’re thrilled to share with you a track a track produced, mixed and mastered here at Lab Six; Rachael Coltrona's Complicated.

Rachael came to us last year with a couple of demos for an album she is working on and 'Complicated' immediately caught my attention. The original demo was an acoustic piece with a vocal and piano and has transformed into the track released today.

We had a lot of fun making this one together and we hope you enjoy listening to it (link in our bio).

I’m stoked to announce I've been selected for a week-long studio workshop in France this July with Grammy award-winning producer Jeff Bhasker, who's produced music for Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and many more.

During my time at the renowned Studios La Fabrique, I'll be presenting the music I'm producing for local artists to Jeff Bhasker and networking with other industry professionals attending.

I'm opening up my studio time for the remainder of May and all of July to work as much as I can and showcase the upcoming talent in Western Australia. My goal is to bring back the knowledge and network gained from France to Perth, and continue to build upon our thriving music culture and develop new talent.

I'll have very limited time and spots available before July, so if you're interested in working with me, drop me a message ASAP.
