Ages Tutored: I tutor students of all ages, from Primary School through to Tertiary Level. I have a particular skill at working with students suffering under high pressure, during their Year 11 and Yea
r 12 studies. I am a former St Stephen’s School student and in my final year at The University of Western Australia completing my Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science with honors. I have been tutoring for seven years with consistent success rates and excellent references available. I focus on working with students to not only assist them in learning and studying curriculum based course work in subjects including Math, Chemistry and Physics, but also teaching them essential study skills. This involves working with students to establish effective organisation and time management skills, effective note taking strategies and study skills tailored to individual needs. I believe establishing great study skills and techniques builds students’ confidence, competence and enhances their ability to learn quickly and effectively - an invaluable skill that will last them throughout their education and into university or TAFE. I have my Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWC Check) and Seniors First Aid
Fees: $50 per hour, tutoring at your home. I do teach multiple students simultaneously, at an increased cost of +$25 per student. Additional fees may apply if you live considerable distance from Duncraig, feel free to inquire.
