What a fantastic Busy Bee we had at our kindy on Sunday 🌿✨

A huge thank you to all our incredible families and little helpers who came together with such amazing teamwork and energy.

So much was achieved, painting and cleaning, digging and mulching, pruning, hedging and raking, as well as planting, watering, and even some dismantling and landscaping projects!

It was truly a team effort, and the difference it has made to our outdoor spaces is just beautiful. We feel so lucky to be part of such a supportive, hardworking and connected community. 💛💛

Thank you again for your time, effort and teamwork it means so much to us all! 🌸

Another beautiful end to Term 3, celebrating the International Fairy Tea Party. Magic was in the air and spring has begun! 🧚‍♀️ 💫 🌼

Yay! Our new playground has received the ultimate tick of approval from the kids 😍🙌🥳🤸🤸

The new play fort features the return of a fireman’s pole and monkey bars – both now slightly higher to challenge the kids and build their confidence – as well as a new cargo net. The beautiful new polished concrete slide is a HUGE upgrade, breathing new life into our existing tunnel fort, and it’s big enough for kids to slide together!

We’re still waiting on the shade sail (it’ll be in place well before the sun returns!), but the play has already well and truly begun.

A huge thank you to Nature Play Solutions for your outstanding workmanship and support on this project.

The timber logs placed around the edge of the playground were donated by some generous friends of the kindy – thank you!

And of course, a massive thank you to our amazing project partners, Lotterywest and Community Bank Forrestfield, for your community grants programs and your ongoing support of Spring Road Kindy! 🌿🛝

It’s been a while since we shared an update on our playground (a certain Quiz Night kept us very busy!), and let’s just say — a LOT has happened! 🌟 What a night! 🌟

Our annual Spring Road Kindy Quiz Night was last night, and it was an amazing success! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along, joined in the fun, and supported us with such great energy. We hope you had as much fun as we did 🥰

We want to give a special shoutout to some standout legends from the night:

💡 Colin the Quizmaster – for donating his quiz skills and time for an eighth year(!!!) and delivering another cracking quiz.
🎤Mitchell Brothers - Property Sales Team – for bringing so much fun and personality to the live auctions.
🏠 Kalamunda Club– for kindly hosting our quiz in their wonderful venue.
🍕 Domino's Pizza – for keeping us fuelled with delicious pizza.

As a Community Kindy, fundraisers like this are only possible thanks to our Parent Committee and volunteers. It takes many helping hands and a lot of hours, and we’re grateful to everyone who contributed to making it such a fun and successful night. 💛

Progress Photos! After a bit of rock-breaking last week, the team at Nature Play Solutions have made awesome progress with the Shade poles going in and concrete footings being poured. We were excited to see that the log steps have being reinstalled up to the existing fort yesterday, ready for the slide! 🛝☀️
