From service to site: Saferight partners with RSL WA Workforce Connect
We’re proud to announce a new partnership between Saferight Training Academy and RSL WA Workforce Connect, supporting Western Australian veterans as they transition from Defence into civilian careers.
Veterans bring valuable skills, discipline, leadership and a strong safety mindset to the workforce. But translating years of Defence experience into the nationally recognised tickets and licences required by civilian industries isn’t always straightforward.
That’s where this partnership comes in.
Through RSL WA Workforce Connect, veterans can be connected with Saferight to access training and qualifications relevant to opportunities across mining, construction and civil industries, including high-risk work licences, earthmoving, heights safety, fire safety, emergency response & rescue, and more.
This partnership also has a personal connection for Saferight. Our CEO, Mack McCormack, served with the Special Air Service Regiment before transitioning into civilian life himself and has long been an advocate for supporting fellow veterans beyond their service.
A big thank you to Stephen Barton, Colleen Adleigh and Kate Mack from RSL WA and Workforce Connect for working with us to bring this partnership together. We’re looking forward to working alongside the team and helping more veterans take that next step.
From service. To training. To new opportunities.
