A very special SHOUT OUT to Haven Baptist and Peet Shorehaven for supporting our school community for the 4th year running as we celebrate R U OK? Day together!

Thank you for helping us start the day with breakfast, coffee, conversation and connection before our school carnival.

Your continued generosity and support mean so much to our Shorehaven community. It’s wonderful to have local community partners who help us create opportunities to check in, connect and remind each other that we’re never alone.

Hello Shorehaven Primary Community,
Just a reminder about some great opportunities coming up for our school community — connecting through community, coffee and conversation!
💛 R U OK? Day – Thursday 3 September

We’re celebrating R U OK? Day with a FREE coffee and breakfast for our entire school community before the Sports Carnival!
☕ Coffee & breakfast from 7:30am until the school bell
📅 Thursday 3 September – Week 7, Term 3
A huge thank you to Haven Baptist Church and Peet Shorehaven for sponsoring this wonderful opportunity for our community.
We’ll also have the Mens Talk joining us to help spread the message about positive mental health and the importance of checking in with one another.

☕ Coffee, Stay & Plays & Conversation
Our coffee van will also be joining us on several upcoming Thursdays.
☕ Coffee van: 8:00am–9:00am
💬 Stay & Play: 9:00am–10:00am
There will be FREE coffee for those attending Stay & Play, thanks to our wonderful community partners. Grab a ticket.

One Big Voice
A huge congratulations to Mrs Dobbs and our school choir for their amazing performance at last Friday’s One Big Voice event at the RAC Arena. It was a sensational night, and their behaviour was simply outstanding. I was so impressed by their contribution to such a wonderful evening. I think they will remember it forever. I am so proud that Shorehaven students have opportunities such as this one. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Miss Dobbs in supporting the students in both the lead-up and the night. Looking very closely at the photo, you can see Mrs Dobbs conducting on the stage, second from the right. The choir will be performing their items to the whole school later this term.

Interschool Success
Congratulations! 2026 Cross Country Champions! Another first for Shorehaven PS. Consistency across all year levels saw the team lift the shield. This result showed how each runner tried their very best for our school. The team will be presented with their interschool badges at this Friday’s assembly. A big acknowledgement to the work Mrs Hibbert and Mr Stanton did in preparing the team and supporting them on the day.

Your commitment to supporting students, staff and families does not go unnoticed. You lead with kindness, integrity and a strong vision creating an environment where everyone feels valued, encouraged, and empowered to achieve their best.
