Carmel School in Dianella OKC Alumni Page Dorot – Generations. There is no beginning and no end.

Carmel Alumni is about connecting the generations, those that have been through this unique and special school that is integral to our Perth community and to the Jewish community worldwide. While many may see a generation as a time line with a beginning and an end, Jews see a generation as one circle with the next generation as a continuation of the circle.

🇮🇱 2025 Alumni Update from Israel! 🇮🇱

We are so proud to share an update from our graduates currently on Shnat programs in Israel.

Maddie D and Daniel S are loving their time on Habo Shnat, which began with an unforgettable 10-day experience on Taglit-Birthright Israel, travelling across the country and finally seeing the places they learnt about for so many years. From a meaningful visit to Jerusalem, to a night in the Bedouin region before climbing Masada, the journey has already been incredible.

They then spent time teaching English to children in the Arava in the Negev, confidently putting their Hebrew skills into practice , something they credit to their years at Carmel. Next stop: Kibbutz Ein HaShofet!

Meanwhile, Annabel C and Saul K have begun their journey on Bnei MTA Shnat. Annabel’s experience started with orientation in the Old City of Jerusalem, including a special visit to the Western Wall. With meaningful Shabbatot and learning at the Midrasha, as well as a tiyul at Ein Gedi and excitement building for Purim with an upcoming trip to Eilat, it has been an inspiring and memorable start.

We love seeing our alumni embracing these experiences, growing in their learning, and strengthening their connection to Israel.
