Carmel Alumni is about connecting the generations, those that have been through this unique and special school that is integral to our Perth community and to the Jewish community worldwide. Our Director of Jewish Life, Simon Lawrence, recently had the pleasure of catching up with some of our 2025 OKC alumni in Israel. We were delighted to receive these photos and hear that Daniel, Maddie, Annabelle and Saul are thriving as they continue this exciting chapter of their journey.

It was especially heartwarming to hear them reflect so fondly on their time at Carmel and share how the knowledge, skills and values they gained at school have supported them throughout their experiences over the past few months.

We miss having them around our campus and are incredibly proud to see them embracing this exciting chapter with such enthusiasm and confidence. We look forward to hearing more about their adventures and wish them continued success in the months ahead.

Over the past week, Principal Chris Hall enjoyed catching up with alumni and parents of alumni, hearing firsthand the many stories, memories, and experiences that have shaped their lives since leaving Carmel.

One theme stood out throughout every conversation: the lasting impact that Carmel School has had on our alumni. From lifelong friendships and treasured memories to the values and sense of community that continue to guide them today, it was clear that the Carmel journey extends far beyond graduation.

These gatherings were a wonderful reminder that no matter where life takes our alumni, the connections formed at Carmel remain strong and the OKC spirit continues to thrive across generations and across Australia.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these events such a success. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our lifelong OKC connections and reconnecting with many more members of our alumni community in the future!
