ALUMNI CAREER SPOTLIGHT
Thank you to our alumni student Cav. Maria Saraceni (Class of 1977) for visiting the College last week and leading a discussion to a class of lucky Year 12 Politics and Law students. Our students were eager to hear about Maria’s career and the real-world application of a law degree.
As Dux of her Year 12 class at the College, Maria is now a Barrister practising in regulatory and compliance law and advises on corporate governance matters specialising in health, safety and employment-related matters. Her wealth of experience across all facets of employment law, industrial relations and workplace law was very insightful to our students who asked lots of questions and participated actively with Maria during the lesson.
Our Year 12 students learnt about the importance of legal precedent, specific Australian cases that have shaped our court system and day-to-day examples in the life of a practicing Barrister.
Thank you to Maria for her time and her insights - her visit gave our students a rare chance to see the law in action and, in true legal fashion, our students had no objections.
We welcome all past students like Maria to join our alumni community. As a part of the community, you will receive reunion invitations, mentoring projects, announcements and College event reminders. It is a free and fun way to stay connected with the College. To sign up or for more info, follow this link:

SACRED HEART DAY COSTUME THEME ANNOUNCED 📣
The media we cherish as we reflect,
We stitch Elsa capes in shades of blue and white flecks.
Cardboard Lightning McQueen’s wheels roll on the floor,
While Moana’s flowers drift through the corridors.
The theme for Sacred Heart Day this year is Childhood Nostalgia! The countdown is on to prepare some creative costumes and dress up for the big day.
The costume can be a character, hero, music reference, movie, tv show or even a beloved toy. It’s time to relive childhood memories and let your imaginations free. There will be prizes for the best student costumes in each year group.
Raising money for the RNDM missions nationally and internationally – 12 June is set to be a fun day on Campus.
