Yesterday, more than 1,400 AngliSchools leaders, educators, chaplains and support staff from across WA came together for our annual Anglican Identity Day (West).
After a heartfelt and spirited Acknowledgement of Country by Ash Garlett Penfold and his nephew, Tyrell, The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO DD led a Eucharist, grounding the day in faith.
The Reverend Peter Laurence OAM delivered his customary and much-anticipated CEO address and also presented two CEO Awards. We warmly congratulate Mel Cuming (Excellence in Teaching and Learning) and Sheena Richardson (Service to the School Community) on this well-deserved recognition.
We were challenged and inspired by Justine Toh, whose keynote offered thoughtful insight into faith, culture and the role we each play in shaping the next generation.
Together, the day was a powerful expression of our shared commitment to Faith, Inclusion, Respect and Excellence….and to being a LIGHT to others in all we do!

Term 1 is drawing to a particularly special close across our New South Wales and Victorian AngliSchools, with school communities celebrating several significant milestones.
AngliSchools CEO The Reverend Peter Laurence OAM and Chair of the Board Mrs Lynne Thomson had the pleasure of joining school communities to mark many important moments, including:
🏅the recognition of four dedicated staff members who have each reached 20 years of service at Trinity Anglican College and Cobram Anglican Grammar School
🦺the official opening of Cobram Anglican Grammar School’s impressive new Trades Centre
the turning of the sod at All Saints Anglican School to mark the commencement of its next phase of development.
These occasions reflect the shared sense of purpose across our schools.
We love celebrating the people, progress and milestones that continue to shape life across AngliSchools!
