Behind every successful drilling operation, there’s a hardworking team like at Boart Longyear!

Thank you to Chris and Rodney for allowing the team at 7th Element to conduct filming in your very cool simulated training facility. In front of the camera was Callum, who was one of the first participants of our drilling offsider employability program. He was interviewed about his experience in the program and where this program has taken his career. Callum was a natural!

Stay tuned! We will be releasing our films for your viewing soon!

Industry, government, and other training councils paid a visit to our 4th Hydrogen Awareness Training Course yesterday.

With over 15 years’ experience as an Engineer in Hydrogen, David Cavanagh introduced hydrogen technologies, opportunities, skills, and training implications to participants in addition to safe and efficient design and operation of hydrogen plants, infrastructure and applicable national and international codes and standards for hydrogen technologies, business, and workforce implications. Participants also had the opportunity to check out some virtual reality.

Once again, all feedback was positive with one participant saying they knew nothing about Hydrogen but were confident in their new found knowledge.

Our next training course will be held online in April! If you are interested, please reach out to the Resources Industry Training Council WA.
