After school should feel like this. Not more classrooms. Not more structure.
Wood under their hands. Leaves under their feet. Space to climb, build, wander, and reset.
Because the best way to finish a school day… is to leave school behind.

After a day inside, this is where childhood opens back up. No desks. Not more of the ‘same same’.
Just space to roam, imagine, and feel free again—exactly as it should be.
Red oak leaves underfoot.
Birds of paradise in full bloom.
Bridges, creeks, and sculptures waiting to be explored.

After a day of school bells, expectations, and constant thinking… children need somewhere that asks little of them.
No pressure.
No performance.
No more sitting still.
Just space to breathe, to wander, to soften.
There’s something powerful about an environment like this — calm, grounded, and a little bit magical. It invites children to slow down, reconnect, and find themselves again after a busy school day.
Because what they need most after school… isn’t more school. That’s why we designed Pachamama.

Children don’t need more of the same after a full day of structure, rules, and classrooms ...
They need space.
They need freedom.
They need something that feels completely different.
A place where they can move, imagine, reset, and just be children again.
That’s what after school should feel like in the Perth Hills.

It started with a simple idea — that childcare could be something more.
Not just a place to be, but a place that genuinely makes a difference. A place that shapes childhood in a meaningful way. A place that brings a smile, not just to children, but to the families who trust us with them.
Every space at Pachamama has been created with that intention.
Because when it’s done right, it doesn’t just fill the day — it leaves something lasting.

There’s something different about play in a space like this.
Under tall trees, on natural ground, surrounded by textures and structures that invite movement and imagination — children don’t just pass the time, they immerse themselves in it.
They climb, explore, take risks, and quietly build the kind of confidence and connection that can’t be taught.
And long after these early years have passed, it’s these moments — the feeling of being outdoors, of freedom, of discovery — that stay with them.

Not all play is the same.
Some play entertains.
Some play challenges.
Some play changes children.
At Pachamama, we create spaces like no other where children can test themselves, take risks, and discover what they’re capable of.
Because that’s where real confidence begins.

There’s something powerful about wide open space, natural textures, and the freedom to explore without limits.
It’s in these moments that children begin to test themselves, trust themselves, and discover what they’re capable of.
Not through instruction — but through experience.
Not within boundaries — but beyond them.
At Pachamama, our environment isn’t just a backdrop. It’s part of the learning. It’s part of the childhood.
And long after these early years have passed, it’s this feeling — of freedom, curiosity, and connection — that stays with them.
A childhood in nature can’t be measured — only remembered.

At Pachamama, our educators don’t just care for children. They “mother” up to 200 children every single day.
They wipe tears and noses.
Tie shoelaces.
Calm worries.
Celebrate victories.
Prepare meals.
Read stories.
Solve disagreements.
Bandage knees.
Comfort children to sleep.
Welcome families at sunrise and wave goodbye at sunset.
Every single day, they help create a home away from home steeped in nature, creativity, and diversity.
Behind every family getting to work, attending appointments, studying, building businesses, caring for loved ones, or simply navigating life… there is a team of educators quietly holding the village together.
Early education is not simply a job. It is emotional work. Human work. Heart work.
To our incredible Pachamama team across both services: thank you for the patience, resilience, warmth, humour, and love you pour into our community day in and day out. The environments, relationships, and sense of belonging you create are what make Pachamama so special.
One Place. One Journey. One Pachamama.
