Engaging Students in the Tourism Industry: A Visit to Boola WA Museum Boola Bardip
We believe the best way to prepare our students for successful careers in the Tourism industry is through hands-on experiences that connect them with industry leaders. Recently, our Diploma of Tourism students had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Boola Bardip Museum, where they engaged directly with the dynamic Marketing team from Museums WA.
During the visit, students learned about the vital role that marketing plays in promoting cultural centres like Boola Bardip. The Marketing team shared invaluable insights into how they craft and implement innovative marketing campaigns, attracting diverse audiences to the museum and ensuring that its offerings resonate with the community.
Students had the chance to ask questions, fostering a two-way dialogue that allowed them to explore the intricacies of marketing within the tourism sector. This kind of interaction helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, making the learning experience both relevant and engaging.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to providing industry-relevant education, empowering future tourism leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
We’re excited to continue creating opportunities that enhance our students’ learning journeys and inspire them to make meaningful contributions to the tourism industry. We look forward to providing more engaging activities that showcase the vibrancy of the tourism sector and the incredible potential of our students!
