Decoding is an essential skill for children to have if they are to become efficient readers.

LALI Service teaches decoding strategies to primary children, years 1-7. Eventually the kids become more effecient at reading and spelling and grow in confidence!

Explicit phonics instruction is the best way to ensure your child has the ability to read (decode) and spell (encode) words with automaticity, required for fluent reading.

Fluent readers enjoy reading stories, which develops the imagination and increase their ability to write interesting stories.
