Sanya Louis - has to be in India for some personal reasons and cannot attend school but her kumon study continues. 💪💪💪 According to mum, she is impressing a lot of people back home with her multiplication and division skills.

Many kumon parents asked how to get their child to start the love for reading.

Aiden Khoo, my own son started by watching a Captain Underpants cartoon movie, and from then on, I started introducing him to the Captain Underpants comic book series. He started from there, and eventually progressed to reading other books that piqued his interest. ( video - throwback from 2017, Year 1)

He started the Kumon English program in Year 1 and completed the entire program by the time he was in Year 7. He started with reading fluency skills, followed by comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and eventually the ability to write essays.

Fast forward to today, he’s in Year 11, doing ATAR English, helping me out at my centre, tutoring others and aspiring young students to excel well in their studies.

This is a flashback video of Amberley, who was in Year 4 when the video was taken, was comfortably doing Maths at year 9/10 level, Expansion of Polynomials products. In Kumon, the ability of the students are built over time and progress is achieved at their own pace. This prepares our students for a strong maths foundation and eventually developing their capability to handle ATAR Maths Methods and Specialists
