The Year 2s have become authors! They have been busy planning and writing their own narratives, creating exciting characters, settings, problems and solutions. This links to the Australian Curriculum as students create imaginative texts and practise using sentences, punctuation and spelling to share their ideas.

🏕️ Our Year 6 camp is off to a fantastic start! We had a great trip up, with a quick stop in Pinjarra along the way, before arriving and settling into our cabins.
This afternoon, students jumped straight into their first activities — archery, the crate challenge, abseiling and the mid ropes course. It was wonderful to see everyone giving things a go and surprising themselves by stepping just outside their comfort zones. The encouragement and teamwork on display were fantastic!
After an action-packed afternoon, we enjoyed some games, spotlight, and a yummy dinner before heading off for an early night, ready for another big day tomorrow.
We are so proud of our wonderful Year 6 students and the positive attitude they have shown already!

Now that our Kindy and Year 6 students are settled, we marked a special moment last week as our youngest learners met their biggest buddies. Each child was introduced to their partner, with smiles all around. Buddy time will continue every Wednesday for shared play and learning, and we’re excited to see these friendships grow.
