Back where it began: Fleuranne Brockway returns to WAO in MADAMA BUTTERFLY 06/08/2025

With only two shows of Madama Butterfly left, I’ve been reflecting on just how much this return to Perth has meant — especially rereading this blog post I wrote a few weeks ago. I left Perth a few years ago not knowing where this path would lead — just hoping I could grow, make the most of the incredible opportunities I’d been given, and hopefully, bring it all back home one day. To come back and feel that journey recognised and welcomed… has honestly meant the world.

Thank you to everyone who’s come along for the ride — for buying a ticket, sending a message, or simply reaching out. Your support has meant more than I can say. ❤️

In this blog, she reflects on her journey from Perth to the world stage and what it means to share one of her favourite roles with a hometown audience.

Voci di Portofino - Documentary celebrating 10 years of CLIP 17/07/2025

Huge congrats to the Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino 🎶🌟 on this beautiful documentary! It captures everything I loved about the experience — the camaraderie, the supportive atmosphere, and of course, the breathtaking setting🌅.

I still dream of those daily bus rides to paradise 🚌✨. I competed in the competition twice and was incredibly fortunate to have won first prize and best female voice in 2022.🥇

Huge congratulations to CLIP on this 10-year milestone — and cheers to many more! 🥂

Endless thanks to the Donati Family and Associazione Bottesini for their incredible support and vision for helping young musicians.🙏💛

Perth opera singer wins prestigious award in Montréal 14/07/2025

Had a lovely chat with Julian Morrow last week on ABC Radio National in Perth — big thanks to my amazing dad, Walter, who wrote to them after my win. ♥️

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have a family who supported me from the very beginning — paying for voice lessons, driving me to uni and rehearsals before I had my licence, letting me scream out high notes around the house (with only mild complaints), and taking me to the airport at all hours so I could chase every opportunity. They’ve been behind me every step of the way, trying to support me in this crazy career I chose the best that they can — and I couldn’t have done it without them.

It means the world to be back home, working, and feeling so supported by the community that raised me. I’m deeply honoured — and so grateful for the encouragement and care that made this journey possible. 💐

🚂Calypso by Benjamin Britten🛤️

Highlights from .

It felt just right for Yuriko and I to have some Britten in our Mélodie since we met for the first time at the program last year.

We had so much fun making our program and can't wait to do it all again. ⭐
